Ervin Overbee: the BEST classic I would have to say would be the old X-men comics perticually issues 94-200. After that I would pick Amazing spider-man and the Avengers if you like comics join my yahoo group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/superherosforever/
Edmund Rappley: Superman is a character for DC, & I believe if he were to have a connection to either company you mentioned, he could be considered to have a very, very loose connection to Marvel through special crossover events the two comic powerhouses have printed. To my knowledge, Capcom has never produced a Superman video game, but I could be wrong about this. I would recommend the sites below to learn a little more about superheroes from both Marvel & DC, so you can help your husband without him having to stifle any laughs so as not to hurt your feelings....Show more
Sang Hanafin: Captain AmericaThe AvengersUncanny X-MenThe Fantastic FourTomb of Dracula, if you like Marvel's classic horror titles.! p>
Florencio Dingle: Fantastic Four & Spiderman were really goodSome non-superhero comics written by Stan Lee were good too.
Ricardo Rozelle: Are you talking issues or team, x-men, avengers and such?PsJust so you know, Spawn was never Marvel
Minh Lefrancois: I started reading Marvel back when it was still called Atlas Comics (and several other names), and I can remember reading the first issue of 'Fantastic Four' a few weeks before the first day of eighth grade. It should be no suprise to anyone that I like the comics from Marvel's first decade (anything before 1972 or so) the most. Watching Marvel invent itself was great fun, and comic books will likely never see the like again.
Maria Bengston: Spiderman and Captain America
Toshiko Reimers: X-menFantasic 4
