Sammy Kar: Hi,Too many variables to make an easy decision. While opening a biz you'll need funds to get started. An existing biz may have past invoices due & be in the red. However if the existing business is in good shape then it's easier to keep it going vs beginning one.

Georgia Dees: Running the business is harder. You'd deal with the daily headache that comes with it. If the company isn't making money yet--you'd have to have a lot of money to keep it going, as well.

Amada Greising: It would depend on where the business is. The one that is on going...is it relatively new, have a client base, suppliers set up, and currently profitable? These are big factors. As for starting a new one...what type of business is it? My take is that it is harder to start a new business than to keep an established one running.
