can you advertise on yahoo for free?

Fred Caminita: I doubt that Yahoo is giving anybody free advertising and this includes Mrs. Clinton too. Just because you don't like her doesn't mean that Yahoo should not use her name to ask some very important questions and if you don't like it then don't look at the questions and no, there is no violation of the Mc-Feingold Election Reform Law here at all. You're just pissed to see her name here and the fact you don't like her is the reason for your question and maybe you are also waiting for someone to file an abuse against Yahoo for letting the question be asked. Don't worry, it will go away shortly and then you can bark about something or someone else. Lia Argall: If you have a web site, you can submit it to Yahoo Search directory for free. That would be about it. Keep in mind, access to Yahoo is free -- they are supported! by advertising income, and therefore aren't going to be giving it away for free. In any case, keep in mind that you get what you pay for - free advertising can only get you so far. Considering taking an ad in the Yellowpages or Yellowbook or their online equivalents as that is still the first place people look when they need a tow truck.
