Whats in every good board game?

Gordon Showes: they are entertaining

Lynn Mctier: A simple concept that anybody can understand. A combination of luck and strategy. An element of interpersonal negotiation and political wrangling. Basically, everything that makes life so much fun should be contained in the best board games.

Davina Shindler: Like specifics....

Cole Desher: they are competitive games when vs Friends or family u have lots of fun

Renay Billiar: Every good board game has an aspect that is pure luck and an aspect that is skill or strategy. A good game is well paced, and allows the play to move along without getting bogged down. It allows for players of differing skill levels and maturity levels. It is designed in such a way that players can get better with practice. The rules are straight forward and easy to understand, and it is relatively easy to learn and to play. The board itself is well designed, clutter free, and easy to understand. The game pieces are pleasa! nt and comfortable to use. The game can easily be returned to its original box without having to struggle to figure out where everything fits....Show more

Brian Marquina: They keep you interested, they are time consuming and its plain fun.

Raymon Fiene: 1. humiliate fellow players - humans are competitive beings and a game that allows you to humiliate your opponents (like in Monopoly you view people being the 1st ones to go out as weak players) is a sure fire shot at making people want to play it.2. strategy - make people think it is them that is making them good instead of getting lucky and they will come back to it more and more.3. Luck - every board game out there (that is multi-player based) eventually needs players to get lucky, ex. Monopoly when rolling the dice and the opponent is coming up on your mighty row of hotels they are wanting to get lucky to avoid either surviving another roll or going bankrupt. (luck is in EVERY popular board game)...Show mo! re
