Muhammad Ali fighting style VS Mike Tyson figting style ?

answers1: Cassius is the fastest heavyweight I've ever seen, and his
speed would enable him to conquer most of the slow-moving heavyweight
champions, like Rocky Marciano. Cassius would be too fast and too
fancy for Rocky, but his speed wouldn't help him against Joe Louis or
Mike Tyson. Before the second Billy Conn fight, Joe said, "He can run,
but he can't hide." It would be the same with Cassius against the
ropes. Louis and Tyson would break both Clay's arms. Before he was
champion, Cassius was knocked down by Henry Cooper and Sonny Banks. If
they could knock him down, Joe Louis and Mike Tyson would knock him
out. I never saw any of the heavyweight champions before Joe Louis,
but Jersey Joe Walcott, with his shuffling sideways style, would have
given Cassius trouble.

In the 80's Tyson couldn't even Ko second rate Ali wanna-bees like
James Tillis and Tony Tucker, how is he going to Ko Ali?

Now which fighting style is better depends on the opponent, I would
say that Ali's style could be used against a wider range of fighters
than Tyson's, at least if you also have his speed.

As far as Ali vs Tyson, Tyson wasn't really a brawler in the
traditional sense. a Brawler is someone who wants to come in and stay
deep inside winging punches all night. That is a unique skill.
Frazier was a brawler. Brawlers don't need speed, they get in your
face and just scrap. Tyson along with Floyd Patterson (also trained by
Cus Damato) used a different style called Peekaboo, which was
actually about using speed to catch your opponent with pin point
punches as you come in from the outside. Trying to outspeed Ali from
the outside is a fool's errand, and that is particularly the case if
you have a 10 inch reach disadvantage like Tyson has here. Whatever
speed Tyson has will be neutralized by his reach disadvantage,
especially in light of Ali's own tremendous speed. Tyson is
notoriously easy to tie up on the inside, and this is what Ali would
do anytime the fight got close. On the outside he would dominate him
with jabs and crosses, especially after about round 6 when Tyson's
head movement begins to disappear.

Ali has taken punches from Foreman, and 15 rounds of punches from
Ernie Shavers (when he was way past his prime and his skills were
gone) both of which are ranked by Boxing experts as harder hitters
than Tyson.
answers3: Mike Tyson Fighting Style
answers4: Mike Tyson Style
answers5: TYSON was the fastest... i mean, he was ridiculously fast,
not really handspeed, but hes body with its low centre of gravity was
outrageous in terms öf going from just outside hittiñg range to inside
and dropping you with hes power, cant really say who would win, coz
Ali never faced ä män like him, yes in Frazier, he faced a man of
similar height, and power, but that wäs in one ärm. in Foreman he
faced a man of similar if not more power, but sorely lacking in speed,

Which fighting style is better? Someone that jabs and keeps distance
or a brawler? And which style would win in a fight
answers7: At first Tyson was much more than just a brawler. This dude
was highly skilled. Peek-a-boo was his style, fast head- and
upperbody-movements to avoid hits and explode with great accuracy in
the infight. Tyson is the most explosive heavyweight fighter I have
ever seen.
Ali is the most elegant and quickest (regarding reflexes, footwork,
long range combinations and whole body-movements) I have ever seen.
As we know both styles are very different but both are extremely
effective also. It mainly depends who your opponent is. Tyson had hard
time against moving boxers, because it wasn´t easy to get in there
because he couldn´t calculate them as easy.
I think Ali would overtax Tyson with his footwork and complex combos,
he could also break his mind - we know he was the master of
psychological warfare and Tyson was too easy to be taken out of his
game plan.
